Outdoors love and a global pandemic.  For my very first blog post I want to share with you something that I wrote from our first backcountry camping trip after being in lock down for nine months.  This website is a creation from my love of the outdoors and also partly a creation from the many lockdowns we experienced here in Canada during the height of the pandemic.  The perpetuation of fear on the boob tube and social isolation was really heavy during those months.  I spent many evenings dreaming of being outdoors or flying down to a warm sandy beach.
